Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

I'm clean is a mobile application published under the bundle identifier com.emnbdx.imclean. For privacy questions, contact us at the email address listed on the Support page.

2. What data we process

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Start dates for alcohol and/or tobacco tracking
• Former daily intake and unit prices you enter
• Days marked as slips (dates and quantities)
• App preferences (selected tracker, theme, language, daily reminder setting)
• Onboarding completion status

We do not create accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment information inside the app.

3. Where data is stored

All app data is stored locally using the device's on-device storage (shared preferences / equivalent). Nothing is uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a backend that receives your tracking data.

4. Why we process it

Data is processed solely to provide the app's features: streaks, calendar, statistics, badges, body timeline progress, and settings. Legal basis: your consent and the performance of the service you request by using the app.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your tracking data with advertisers or data brokers. There are no third-party analytics SDKs, ad networks, or crash reporters embedded for marketing profiling.

Platform providers (Apple App Store / Google Play) may process purchase or download information under their own policies when you install the app. If you enable system notifications for the daily reminder, your device OS handles delivery locally.

6. Website

This marketing website is mostly static and does not set tracking cookies for advertising. The Support form sends your message to our inbox via Brevo (name, email, subject, message) solely so we can reply. Language preference may be stored in your browser's localStorage on this device only.

7. Retention and deletion

Data remains on your device until you clear it. You can export or import a JSON backup from Settings. Uninstalling the app deletes local app data (subject to your device/OS behavior). We do not keep a remote copy.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including GDPR in the EU/EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Because data stays on your device, you can exercise most rights directly in the app (edit settings, export/import, uninstall). For other requests, contact Support.

9. Children

I'm clean is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Medical disclaimer

I'm clean is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Health timelines are general information based on public sources and do not replace professional care.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
